Wall Clock

Making a clock iz quiet a fun DIY....yea really!!!
Though it may seem a bit of far fetched,
but believe me its one of the easier more rewarding DIYs...:-)
All you need iz :
The clock machine (available at clock shops along with hour and minute needles)
and a surface (possibilities for the surface are endless from ur babies first attempt of paint to a unique plate ,or maybe tht wooden frame u saw in the flea market?)

In my case I up cycled a broken glass table top!!!
This iz how it looked like after it broke...:-(

All i did was:
I had the glass cut to a square (one foot square) with curved edges and a small circle in the center
This is the machine with the needles I bought

but the red second needle was a complete no no ,
so I painted it silver with a silver marker ,
also the machine was to be visible, so I spray painted the sides and the front part of it (leavin the back side alone as it carries cell terminals etc)
after the white paint dried i painted zebra print literally onto the machine !!!
(with a permanent black marker) and guess wat?
 It turned out terrific!!!

see?
Now all I need iz sm fresh project for rest of the glass top....
                                                                        Any ideas?

Diaper box

x

Ever wondered how many projects need just a cardboard to start with?
From ur sons new "cardboard boat" to ur daughters "cardboard doll house" ?
Well, honestly this project iz not that lovely, but it still iz cute....
Here I've turned an old card board box into my daughters Diaper Box.

So, heres what i did
I took manoz(my daughter) old coterie trouser and another old shirt of mine cut out there sides in the size of rectangles i needed
added bonus: i cut the pocket ,teddy and flowers from the trouser too..:-D
(they were too adorable to be wasted)

First i glued (wood glue) the coterie trouser onto the sides of the box and later the shirt onto the front, making sure there were no air bubbles left.
Then came the cute part:
I tried different arrangements for the pocket, teddy and ribbons
and finaly settled to the one I liked.....

And Guess Wat?
the pocket not only looks nice but iz also functional ...:-)
It holds her safety pins, cotton balls etc

:-D

Can Mirrors Ever Disappoint You?

When it comes to decor , from washrooms to porches and from kitchens to bedrooms ,
iz there a space where a mirror wont compliment , enhance or en live?
I had this blank wall between two doors that was just ...BLANK....:-(

I wanted the lil' lobby to look spacious .
Solution :MIRRORS!!!
(but not the ones the break your bank....)

So, I went to this Mirror shop and asked them for pieces tht were left after cuttings.
They had three (with that left out, broken kind of look)
I had them cut into three equal rectangles ...
later i just glued (silicone) on a golden ribbon along with these sequins (left from the vase project)
I glued them to the wall with silicone but also hammered nails just above and below
( afterall safety comes first)

and tada!!!!!

like 'em?
hate em'?
tell me abt them....

Table Runner

Hey guys AOA
Could a piece of hemmed cloth get more expensive than table runners are now a days ?
I thought i needed around three to four for my dinning room but when i

Is there anything a spray paint cant do?
This was a tired old vase i dint like much....so after lots of thinkin on whether to throw it or not I decided recycling it.....
herez wat I did
I simply spray painted it gold and glued some mirrors on....
