Wall Clock

Making a clock iz quiet a fun DIY....yea really!!!
Though it may seem a bit of far fetched,
but believe me its one of the easier more rewarding DIYs...:-)
All you need iz :
The clock machine (available at clock shops along with hour and minute needles)
and a surface (possibilities for the surface are endless from ur babies first attempt of paint to a unique plate ,or maybe tht wooden frame u saw in the flea market?)

In my case I up cycled a broken glass table top!!!
This iz how it looked like after it broke...:-(

All i did was:
I had the glass cut to a square (one foot square) with curved edges and a small circle in the center
This is the machine with the needles I bought

but the red second needle was a complete no no ,
so I painted it silver with a silver marker ,
also the machine was to be visible, so I spray painted the sides and the front part of it (leavin the back side alone as it carries cell terminals etc)
after the white paint dried i painted zebra print literally onto the machine !!!
(with a permanent black marker) and guess wat?
 It turned out terrific!!!

see?
Now all I need iz sm fresh project for rest of the glass top....
                                                                        Any ideas?
